As Brompton Bikes are not really suited for off-roading, it is usually better to stay on a trail made for walking. Three of such, in North London last, are:
1. The Regent's Canal Towpath
A scenic trail that runs from Little Venice to the River Thames, passing through many of North London's most popular neighborhoods. The trail is relatively flat and well-maintained, making it a great option for a brompton bike.
2. The Parkland Walk. A nature trail that follows an old railway line through North London, passing through Finsbury Park and Highgate. The trail is mostly flat and offers a peaceful escape from the city, with plenty of greenery and wildlife to enjoy.
3. The Lea Valley Walk. A long-distance trail that runs along the River Lea, passing through East London, North London, and Hertfordshire. The trail offers a mix of urban and rural landscapes, with plenty of parks and nature reserves to explore. Some sections of the trail are quite hilly, so it might be a bit challenging for a brompton bike.
